You may rent a car at some locations between the ages of 21-24 for an additional young renter surcharge. Credit cards are accepted at airport and non-airport locations in the US, Puerto Rico and Canada.
Renters without a ticketed return travel itinerary will need to provide a credit card with sufficient available credit to cover the estimated total amount for the rental and a deposit between $200-$850 depending on the rental location and class of vehicle rented.
Debit/check cards are any non-credit cards bearing the VISA®, Mastercard® or Discover® logo. Prepaid cards or any other non-credit cards without one of these logos are not accepted.
At airport locations, debit cards are only accepted at the time of rental if accompanied by a ticketed return travel itinerary. The name and address shown on the renter’s driver’s license must match their current home address. Active-duty military personnel are exempt from address requirements. Other than the Renter’s spouse or domestic partner, no other additional drivers are allowed. If using a debit card for any amounts owed, the available funds in the account associated with Renter’s debit card will be reduced by those amounts. Additionally, Renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred.
Enterprise accepts pre-paid gift cards with a Visa®, Mastercard® or American Express® logo as a form of payment at the end of a rental. We do not accept gift cards at the beginning of the rental*. Payment is never required when making a reservation.

For security reasons, many Enterprise branches do not accept cash payments; however, some branches may accept cash or a money order at the end of the rental for final payment after the vehicle has been returned. Check with your rental location to see if the rental location accepts cash or money orders at the end of the rental. We apologize for any inconvenience.

If you modify your pick-up or drop-off location, date or time, this may result in a change to your rates, taxes, surcharges, or underage fees. Please see your new rate quote when you verify your reservation
Will I be charged if I cancel my reservation?
North American website & app:
If you did not prepay for your reservation, there will not be a cancellation fee.
If you prepaid for your vehicle, the following conditions will apply (applicable in US and Canada only):

If you prepaid for your vehicle the following conditions will apply (applicable in Europe only):
You will not be charged a cancelation fee if you cancel your reservation 7 days ahead of time
If you cancel your booking less than 7 days, but at least 24 hours before your specified pick up time you will be refunded the booking amount minus a small cancellation fee. You will need to call 1 (855) 266-9289 to find out the exact cancellation fee.
If you cancel your booking in less than 24 hours before your specified pick up time, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Will I be charged if I don't show up for my reservation?
If you fail to pick up your prepaid rental on the specified pick-up date, you will receive a full refund minus a no show fee of USD $100 / CAD $135.
Will my rate change if I modify my reservation?
Possibly - rental rates can change on a daily basis so changing the dates or number of days may change the daily rate.
Reservations booked on a third party website must be canceled through the third party website. Reservations agents cannot change reservations booked on these websites nor can you cancel them on the Enteprise.com website. Please return to the website where you originally booked the reservation.
If you are in an accident, your safety is most important. Please call 911 or call the local authorities for assistance and file a police report. Then call Roadside Assistance at 1-800-307-6666, which is available 24 hours a day, to report the incident after authorities have been engaged. They will file a damage report and set up tow services for the damaged vehicle if it is no longer drivable.
